2002: Initial assessment to gather information regarding the integration of the black community in real estate business. IRPF staff developed relationships with stakeholders in the market. Stakeholders expressed enthusiasm in establishing viable markets and training mechanisms to include under-represented groups.

2003: IRPF with the support of US State Department held a round table meeting to discuss strengthening and broadening real estate markets.

2006: Validation of assessment, previous findings still applicable 2007: IRPF, the Estate Agency Affairs Board (EAAB), and Institute of Estate Agents of South Africa (IEASA) work together to achieve common voice for South African real-estate community IRPF works with national initiative The Services Sector Education and Training Authority (SETA) to provide educational training to real-estate community Advocacy and Lobbying Training delivered

2008: Train the Trainer, CRB, and IREM courses delivered Official Service Level Agreement signed between IRPF and Services SETA, Property Charter developed 2009: Second Advocacy and Lobbying course delivered in four provinces

2009: A third Advocacy and Lobbying course delivered

2011: IRPF partners with Ditasa to provide training to 350 Previously Disadvantaged Individuals (PDIs)
